For Aida And Carmel, On Their anniversary Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

For Aida And Carmel, On Their anniversary

Rating: 5.0

Will you hug me now?
Though, you are gone
The absence of yr touch on my face
Wiping my tears as you embace me
On a cold winter's day
Can stop my falling apart at the seams
It's only when this day arrives
When I remember yr love for all of us
I miss you both when the silence roams
For I have no one to care for me

Anniversaries of loved ones who've departed can be tough, as is evinced by this beautifully written tribute. You are in my prayers..
