from wanderlust to wonderous
by ©Sylvia Frances Chan,
dutch poetess, evangelist and critic

from wandering
you get wanderlust

you will meet the love

you get a lover
you get a loved one
you get the beloved
based on true love

true love means
one knows the other through and through
trusts the other thorough,
defend each other through thick and thin
always speak the truth to each other, no sin
respect each other's beliefs

since they believe in the same God
to the bone

they belong together
until the moment comes

that God is calling them
to dwell with Him in paradise,

then there will be no more water rain
only poetry rain on the earth
since the two who were called by God
are poets

both create poems in heaven now, as then on earth,
they still make poems to their other peak
poems and poets will be immortal

then there will be no more water rain
only poetry rain on the earth
poems and poets will be immortal

What a beauty, dearest friend Sylvia. The verse on true love is superb! True love means to trust one another implicitly, to support and defend each other through thick and thin, to be truthful and respect each other. Just wonderful!
