Gone In A Blink Of An Eye
One moment your right here beside me,
In a flash you are taken away,
I'm hearing your voice in my memories,
I long for you every day,
One moment we're laughing together,
But now, I'm crying alone,
I long for, that special sound once again,
The ring of the telephone,
For they were the best conversations,
The ones that I shared with you,
You gave me, such inspiration,
I'll remember those words through and through,
For the rest of my life I will miss you,
But one day, I know you'll be there,
Waiting for me, just to take your hand,
We'll walk up that heavenly stair.
