इस देश का नाम बदल डालो (Hindi)
राज्यों का नाम बदल डाला
शहरों का नाम बदल डाला
सड़कों का नाम बदल डाला
गलियों का नाम बदल डाला
क्या इससे गरीबी दूर हुई?
क्या इससे बिमारी दूर हुई?
क्या इससे कुपोषण दूर हुआ?
क्या इससे जहालत दूर हुई?
यदि प्रश्नों का उत्तर हाँ हो
तो देश का नाम बदल डालो
भारत की सभी समस्यायें
पल भर में हल हो जायेंगी
विश्वास दिलाता हूँ तुमको....

Just by changing the name of a street or station, one cannot change the character of the place. Change has to take place from deep within a human being or from the core of the people representing the country. Its like painting the outer cover when the inside is shallow and empty. When politicians fail to give a good manifesto to their voters, they start playing with the national and cultural sentiments of the people. It's happening, not only in India, but everywhere including Pakistan. The educated and learned people are not impressed by such things, but majority consists of illiterate and ignorant persons. I fully agree with your views and support you. It's a great poem.

It is the game politicians often play to divert attention of the people from real issues like poverty, death due to malnutrition, bribery and injustice and so many more that have been eating away our society. Your poem is real in this matter. Thanks for sharing.
