तेरी बड़ी बड़ी आँखों को मुझे मार कर चैन मिलेगा;
मुझ जैसा भोला-भाला इनके सम्मोहन में बंध जाता है;
तीर नज़र का मेरे दिल को इकदम घायल कर जाता है.
तेरी मीठी बातों से दिल के घावों को आराम मिलेगा;
दिल की चोट अभी ताजा है अतः गला रुंध जाता है-
तेरी बड़ी बड़ी आँखों को मुझे मार कर चैन मिलेगा;
मुझ जैसा भोला-भाला इनके सम्मोहन में बंध जाता है;
कसम मुझे अपनी है तुमको सुनने पर विश्वास मिलेगा;
तुम्हें मानता रानी अपनी यकीं मेरा भी बढ़ जाता है;
मेरी मृत्यु के बाद खुलेगा सत्य यही यह बतलाता है.
तेरी बड़ी बड़ी आँखों को मुझे मार कर चैन मिलेगा;
