English Transliteration:
Watan se ya muhabbat se muhabbat kar nahin sakte
Ana ko chhod kar jo log kuchh bhi kar nahin sakte
Agar khudbee(n) hain vo aur khudparasti raas hai unko
To fir insaniyat ka vo bhala bhi kar nahin sakte
Ana = ego or vanity
If a person is self-reliant, then he can not even do good for humanity because selfish motive and ego make him arrogant. Neither such ego allows to marry nor to have love for anybody. This ego never does good at all. Very thought provoking poem is shared with original writing and translation. You are very nice in translation too....10
Thanks, Pintu ji, that you could spare time from your busy schedule to read this poem and to post an extremely wonderful review of the same.
Very nice. To do some good to others we have to let go of our ego. Thanks for sharing.

I would like to translate this poem
Ego takes a person toward destructive way. Feeling self with love and humility improves friendship and dignity of life revives faith within us. Selfishness never wins. Selfless service empowers humanity and self realizes real joy. This is very thoughtful poem shared...10
This has been an outstanding and elaborate review of my poem which also explains the reality of a life loaded with ego and selfish motives. The society cannot hope to get any benefit from such people. Thanks a lot, Kumarmani ji.
