I Got My Christmas Wish - Poem by Practicing Poetess

The one thing I wanted to see
Was you standing outside my front door
My dream came to life, it seems
Now I don't want anything more.

Just to hold you again in my arms,
Arms that longed to be filled by you
After such a long time apart,
You're my one Christmas wish, come true.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I must have really been good.
Santa gave me exactly what I wanted, most of all!
