I lost my way
In the midst of pitch darkness,
Strange wind came
From the darkest region
With its mysterious fragrance,
I was not afraid,
I waited,
Slowly I began to smell the fragrance;
In course of time
I recognised it,
I had smelt it many times in my vision,
It was not my enemy,
It was my friend,
It would surely lead me
Towards a new kingdom,
Where the bright sun would shine at its best.
your patience and positivity would certainly lead u to a new kingdom. Beautiful.
Another mysteriously powerfully inspiring poem! Love it, Anjandev!
Yes, how often we keep ignoring the positive indications and keep ourselves engaged in futile things. Your poem ends on positive note as always. Full ****
A very good revelation indeed. Inspirational poem. Tfs
I'm guessing the 'new kingdom' was a neighbor's backyard family cookout. You were smeling hamburgers and skewered 'veggies' cooking on a grill. : ) bri
By the eed by end of 6th line, It sounds like the fragrance was noticed...but then line 8 speaks of beginning to smell it. Hmm?
....but definitions are not without variety/differences for the same word. Do you know what I mean... It can be useful OR annoying.
