I'm So Sorry - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I'm truly so sorry sweet love
for everything I've ever done wrong.
The things I've said and done that
hurt you so bad haunt me everyday.
I can feel that you're mad and I know
you still hurt,
and my heart is aching in a million ways
that you can't possibly know.
I'm so sorry to the deepest parts of my soul,
I very often just sit and cry because
knowing I've caused such feelings and tears
in the woman I love makes me feel like a felon,
like a murderer that belongs on death row.
Please just let me express my sorrow and remourse,
tell you how sorry I am that I was so coarse.
I don't blame you for your anger but please know
it makes me hurt worse.
I love you so much and will spend
eternity making everything up.
Please my sweet lady angel of love,
I'm so truly sorry believe me
I would give anything to take it all back.
