I Thought You Loved Me - Poem by KatieLynn Watson

We were walking in the rain
holding hands once again
with laughs and smiles
but all that while
you were going to leave me

You were going to desert me
as I stood in the rain
to you it was just a game
when I thought you were my boy
I was just your toy

I thought you loved me
