I Want My Space - Poem by Rajnish Manga

I am a great lover of nature
Of its myriad forms, its hues and shades
I have preserved,
In the folder of my cognitive files
Superscribed with my heart’s emotional bytes
(Among other things)
Quite a good number of
Sunsets and sunrises
Strung together in the timeline of my life
They supply me the much needed oxygen
When I feel drained
And asphyxiated
During my run up to safety
battling for my own space
In the charming valley of
This pristine nature

Topic(s) of this poem: life, love, nature, safety, sunrise, sunset, tired

This is a very beautiful poem.
I fully endorse this feeling of freedom.
Each individual must have his or her share of space to do what they like.
otherwise one can feel the want of oxygen.
So well thought of and so effectively worded.
Truly, enjoyed reading this poem, Rajnish ji.

I too need my own space and this poem confirms it. 'Emotional bytes'-an original
image from computers; 'the timeline of my life'-another memorable image. It all adds up to
    a top-drawer free verse poem.
