Now that
I am unwanted
Disown me
If you like
And throw me
Out of your mind
And memories
If you can
Out of your life
If possible
This is magnificent. We may believe that it is easy or simple or even able to dictate to our memory. What I think we fail to realize is that memory is tied to consciousness, which is linked to personality. Purging the memory, therefore, has consequences for the whole of one's person, personality. A terrific poem, Rajnish.
I am glad, Mj, that you have not only read this poem but have analysed the contents in the light of correlation of memory with consciousness and the personality of a person and with his very existence. Thanks for your thoughtful comments and appreciation.
the words have been from the depth of truth... a nice poem, in deed. pallab chaudhury
This short poem describes the feelings that every one faces. It's just an impulse. Soon he realizes the loved ones, by the passage of time, are busy in the unavoidable fatigues of life and have a lesser time for him. But then comes a moment when the loved ones give him the full attention to him. This pleasure heels all the pains. Rajnish Manga has nicely painted this feeling in a lovely poem
One can present such a wonderful review of the poem only when he has seen life from close quarters and has studied human relationships quite intensely. Thanks for your kind words about this poem, Akhtar Jawad Sahab.
A poignant write, I hope its' not about you. take care and smile.
No, not me. It was a thought in the passing. Thanks for your kind words.

Not as easy as one may think to get someone beloved propelled out of mind and memories as both relate mutually and have good vibes and are said to be on same wavelength....so one without the other will affect the whole stature of a person.......short and succinct.......thanks for sharing....10
You have so nicely analysed the undercurrent of this poem and put up a fine review. My sincere thanks for your constant support, Deepak ji.
