Letters Poem by Craig Moses Uche

Letters

Rating: 5.0

I got your letters
Though written with thoughts
Than the quills of feathers
Yet my heart understood it's thought

Yet still I'd prefer to be with you
To embrace the rain
After each outting with you
While bearing love's stain

To bear the beating of the sun
While walking into your eyes
Without thinking to turn
Until we've struck our ties

To stand the showers of the rain
While waiting for you
And even if the weather is mundane
I'd still choose you

Yes, One hundred and eighty six miles
Didn't stop this heart
From beating for you

Exquisitely beautiful poem! It expresses love's strength to bear extreme rain or sun for love's sake and the distance can never diminish love.
