Limerick.29. Search

Rating: 4.9

A lady was seen searching in the light
Though not stupid, she was far from bright
“What do you search? ”
“I look for my watch,
In the room where it is, there’s no light”

There is no light in the room where the watch lies and she was not bright enough. It was simple she could not find it. Beautiful limerick. Enjoyed.

A misjudged search. Funny. The lady might have eyes of an owl!

call ME stupid! i had to read this twice to get the joke! Daniel Brick (in his comment) mentions my favorite people.........The Simpsons. i sometimes wear an old t-shirt with goofy-looking Bart (the boy) Simpson saying Don't have a cow, man! ; i usually am in bed when wearing it. ok, valsa, your stupid humour (congratulations) has won this poem a trip to MyPoemList! bri :)
