Limerick - Culprit Poem by Valsa George

Limerick - Culprit

Rating: 5.0

An eighty year old was sent to a jail
The old man was denied even a bail
Kissed a girl in public
He injured her tender lip
Was seen as an offence of a large scale

Hopefully, I have already read this amazing Limerick! I find all your limericks not only humorous but also technically perfect. Many people think that it's easy to pen Limerick but I find it difficult because I myself have tried many times but failed. You are really a wizard in this field. To MyPoemList

What a fascinating limerick. So cleverly written. The curse of a stolen Kiss! I hope the old man will not stay in prison for life for a kiss and minor injury... Very entertaining write, Valsa . Loved reading it. Glad to know you are back, Valsa. Best wishes for your son's wedding. To my treasure chest.

I have tried and tried to write a limerick that had 10 syllables each in lines one, two and five and 7 each in lines three and four.- -my efforts have yet to result in anything understandable! You, dear Valsa, are a master of the form as well as other kinds of poems! ! ! And that old geezer was indeed a public menace! ! 10+ as usual

I am in my later sixties. Hope, never to be a culprit like him. A kiss is an expression of tender feelings, may be passionate too, but it is never a thing to be forced upon. Loved the humor hidden throughout the lines.
