Limerick- Godsend Poem by Valsa George

Limerick- Godsend

Rating: 5.0

Falling into a ditch, she had a sprain
Being fat, could be moved only by crane
Lying in that dead end
She saw the crane godsend
Or else she would have died in that drain!

Reply To Valsa George's Limerick Godsend Who advised her loving near the ditch, The fat woman forced him to flinch, The lean boy friend couldn't play, Left her alone and ran away, The bulky woman wasn't an experienced witch. (Traditional fun on the Holi day.)

A very entertaining limerick. Yes, sometimes life is hard when you are fat as depicted in this humorous write. Beautifully crafted and cleverly written.

Fat people should not go near drains Their clumsiness will bring them pain If a crane was not near The drain will flood, I fear With the water blocked when it rains
