With matchless grace and eyes of crystal blue
She was indeed an angel to view
To win her fervent love
And make her their dove
Men vied with each other standing in queue
'Men vied with each other standing in queue'. Wherever she goes the situation will remain the same. Great humour and a great limerick to which you have given a new lease. Thanks.
A poem as graceful as the matchlessly beautiful character. The greatness of Valsa George is vivid in the creation of characters who are very great
I wouldn't mind standing in her queue. I won't attempt a Limerick. I'll leave that to you and Wes and this budding talent, Loke. We British are supposed to be polite in queues but I'd make an exception in her case. I'll practise my barging techniques just in case. Lovely Limerick, Valsa.
Tom, so you are ready to overstep all accepted norms to win her.............! No wonder.... this was 'the face that launched a thousand ships'! Enjoyed your humorous comment! Thanks!

When I first saw her I knew This was a prize to pursue But I had to stand in line My chances quickly declined For I was way back in the queue Thanks for the fun Valsa, you are the best! -10
Oh... this is terrific....! Better than my limerick...... Loke Don’t think that your chances are dim Who knows you won’t be made to swim In a joy never dreamt As she gives you her consent To be your soul mate, crushing others’ whim
