Dwelling in solace of sorrow for long
Strings of fear pulled me from touching
The Glass of happiness
Don't know...
Which line will draw a cross on my line of happiness
And there by breaking into pieces!
Which line did you cross
That turned your love upside down
Isn't it, your fuming ego
That diverted your line towards hatred!

Fuming ego diverts the line toward hatred. Nice warning to keep in mind. Thank you.
Very well said. Yes the biggest foe in our mind is none but that vicious ego. Thanks for sharing
Love and hate are like two banks of a river, the banks are separated yet bound to run side by side. It's one's own ego that rows the boat of emotions sometimes on this bank and sometimes on the other one.
I love this excellent write Geetha so powerful with great depth of feellings, strongly expressed! !
Wonderful! You have proved that short poems bring out the best in you. I give a 10 for you, Geetha.
False ego often conjure a sense of non-existing hurt and makes a mountain of a mole hill. A nice realistic poem.
