Love means
A touch less kiss
That brews youth
In an age old skin,
That builds faith
In roads dry and even,
That fills hope
In deserted heart for rain,
That pours dream
In skinny nights and sleepless men.
Love means A touch less kiss That brews youth In an age old skin, That builds faith In roads dry and even, That fills hope In deserted heart for rain, Beautiful expression. Thanks.
An insightful portrayal of love as a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly - a voyage of pure bliss, well articulated and nicely brought forth.
That builds faith In roads dry and even, That fills hope In deserted heart for rain, That pours dream In skinny nights and sleepless men.
I love the ambiguity in touch less and a kiss that does not touch. I found myself going deeper and deeper into the images it invoked and really felt that poetry makes us see things we thought we knew differently. It down plays touch yet upholds love and thoughts of love in a way that makes me keep thinking about all the gestures of love I have seen that can be described as touching less but loving. I will carry it with me for a long time. I just wish I could exude love and connect with people in the way suggested here. Keep on writing. I like your poems.
Wow creatively poetic on love! Each stanza crafted in beautiful phrasing. Thumbs up poet. And thanx for yor coment.
