Your poem is pretty good. The only thing I would have added was a bit more Imagery. Other than that, it is really good and I like it. Keep up the good work. I really don't qualify to judge other peoples work for I am not a poet or a critic. I am just somebody that writes down what I am feeling at the time. I live inside my head so that flows to the hands and ends up on paper, computer that is. Your words are real and from the heart and that my friends is the only thing that matters. Commit pen to paper and write on.
