You smile at me gazing deep in my eyes
From the picture I pinned on the soft board.
As I untangle my wet hair and hurriedly blow dry,
Tying into a knot with pins, rush out on road

To catch 9 AM metro after all night work;
It’s Monday, deadline for a cover story
On long distance marriage; board and smirk
You can make it work, with trust, commitment.

nothing is made in haven.............haven is made by illusions. But good marriage is made by two rational people who know what they are in for..............

Marriages are not made in heaven, Mamta. But heaven smiles when we make it work and comes in and lends a hand to make it work better - long distance and all. Great, Mamta, great. Mark

On long distance marriage; board and smirk You can make it work, with trust, commitment. ..................................................... Mamta, my husband and me are married for a long time.Though it is not made in heaven, but we try to do our best we can to make it heavenly in the eyes of God, as we always center our lives to Him.Yes, you are very right then to say that we can make it work with trust and commitment to love each other for better and for worse. Wise words..thanks for sharing. Shalom, Meggie

Much is left to the imagination in this one. Very poignant and bittersweet. If anyone can make it work, you can, Mamta.Trust and commitment never go out of style. Love, SandraX

It is true that marriages are no longer made in heaven, - But love is surely made in bed! With the commitment to keep her happy, - Both in sickness and in health! -Raj

Heaven an imaginary space Spirits to be elevated into that brace. Marriage a reality show on a tangible surface Spirits to be balanced with each of its trace. Assurance clause at the end, runs like a race. Forever not to give up, is this institution, a grace Good and bad, goes well, when the ultimate is to enjoy solace. Short and sweet theme as if in a story line. Enjoyed the strong theme and the lively poem.
