searching, where to find answers
how to end this masked charade
hiding that I'm slowly dying inside.
a deep cut, carved upon my wrists
pouring out these crimson tears,
desiring to silence aching pain
would it end overwhelming hurt?
dagger plunged through my chest
lungs collapsing, breath escapes
as a tear falls, painfully asking
is there an end to this charade?
how really I'm already dead inside
numbly walking through my day
fake smile placed upon my face
continuing this masked charade
like a ghost haunting these walls
this life vapid, it goes unnoticed
my heart barely beating, echoes
in this lifeless shell I've become
faintly whispering I'm still alive
waiting to test the chance of fate
again to leave my wrists weeping
one that might end this charade

I seldom feel my own pains in reading a poem of another. The sadness when shared is less painfull, isn't it Silentpoet Girl? Keep on to your right to write....Your works are blessfull.
