Mother Earth - Roudra Or Anger
Mother Earth has gifted mankind
With a great boon!
The power of intelligence,
The power of reasoning!
Yet, man tends to misuse his intelligence and powers
For dreadful deeds!
Why, pick quarrels in the name of religion?
Religion is meant for elevating the mind,
To a higher level of sublime existence,
Not for hatred, revenge, or violence,
Nor for committing unpardonable crimes!
Whether Hindu, Christian or Muslim,
All have the same body, blood, and limbs,
The sky and earth as common roof and ground,
Then why fight over irrelevant and insignificant issues?
Mother Earth is exasperated for creating religious wars
For she is Roudra Bhoomi -
The Mother of anger and indignance!
Whether Hindu, Christian or Muslim, All have the same body, blood, and limbs, The sky and earth as common roof and ground, Then why fight over irrelevant and insignificant issues? ..... It is time to think deeply. Beautifully caprured the exasperation of mother earth. Thanks.10

Sometimes I wonder How life was before religion took root. As for the gifts of mother earth; we are also gifted with hate and greed! Thanks Geeta
Mother Earth is always calm and benign. But if we the humans begin to abuse the gifts of Mother Earth due to greed, then she revolts. She is angry. Every Mother has the right to be angry if the children misbehave. Thank you Loke for reading this poem.
