Hauntingly beautiful and sad. This too will pass my friend. But in the meantime be very gentle with yourself.I like the original way you express your grief Jan.

Where there is grief there is no smile, no raindrops, no dusk, no dawn. But when grief disappears peace comes and everythings go on normal. It is fantastic blues poem duly expressed.

I admire your approach to such a painful revelation. Where my life, in short, bears similar tragedy. My hope and prayers I send thee. For thou wet eyes dry and lay upon beauty once more. As thine soul be restored to peace. God bless us all, for we are only given what we can handle by his grace and love. Let us not parade insolence. Rather humbly supplicate to the Lord. Amen. Thank you for sharing. You moved me with this and inspired me to make works and deliver it poetically.

With so much violence and injustice around most think of receding to a lonely place in search of peace. Happy that you are one from them like me. Enjoyed the poem. Very nice and hope your wish gets fulfilled. Congrats.

Jan, the poem expresses your heart-felt grief with such eloquence. In struggling with your pain, you've allowed your mind to drift free to that place where there is no pain. Where there is only peace and beauty. And in the process, you've given the reader permission to do the same. You've shared your special gift and healed some wounds. It's no wonder that this beautiful poem has been the distinction of Poem Of The Day. Congratulations! Very well deserved! !

Mournful, yet so beautiful! Liked the comment of Jazib Kamalvi- 'An impressive poetic grief'. 'Where the thorns will stop peeling off soul And roses will cure woe In search of that place In search of peace' - The poem ends in an awesome tone. Congratulations on being selected the 'Poem Of The Day'. The only poem that you have posted here, has done you the honors, well done!

Have I said something dislikeable here? Yet someone has disliked my comment. What a pity!
