My Teachers are the towering trees
casting shadows,
cold n thick;
under which i feel
a comfort, pleasure, endless ease...
I dive deep,
n daily dive
into the ocean
of their wisdom full of knowledge
which, by any manner of means,
stretches broad as skies
n deep like those seas...
My Teachers are those perfect guides
who taught me how to love n live,
never to take
but always to give
n give, just give
n keep on giving...
n taught me that, 'for to be social
is to be forgiving.'...
i feel honor,
deep pleasure
offering homage
to my great n worthy teachers,
to my honored second parents...
this is true, O God Almighty!
they purified n sustained
my raw n stubborn cruel self...
they are, O God! your gifted beings
they crafted my inner features...! !

Those who lead me to the way of knowledge are my teachers// I like this poem//top marks! ! ! !
A nice poem touching the sensitivity of tender minds bringing sublime values of life, how significant the contributionof teachers in molding good character in children.
A great tributes teachers what would we do if there is no teachr.....
Without our teachers what would we do? Who would we turn to for knowledge. A lovely tribute to all teachers everywhere.
This has sent goosebumps all over my body! What a noble tribute to the teachers! ! Looking back to my past, some faces stand out as beacons of light! They are my teachers who prodded me to move on when tired, guided my path, imparted perennial values to life and above all lit the lamp of knowledge, many of whom now rest under the sod! Shahzia, I assume that you were a good student, the darling of your teachers! Let me draw your attention to one of my favourite poems- The Guru' which got least reader response!
don't we all fall in love with our teachers, nurturing us, guiding us, offering a helping hand...lovely poem
What a poignant and brilliant homily written to your teachers and teachers everywhere. All students should be as grateful as your words for the work of good caring teachers. Unfortunately, many teachers in this country are not honored for their efforts. Great work.

A great homage presented by an obedient student to her praiseworthy teachers. Though the poetess regards them as her second parents, they are more than real parents with respect to the comparison between body and soul. v nice
