It is, being human, to have won from space This unchill, habitable interior Which mirrors quietly the light Of the snow, and the new year. Beautiful Modern Poem Of The Day! CONGRATULATIONS

Totally agree with Lantz concerning this poem. I almost bypassed it because I supposed it to be the typical celebration poem. I am so thankful I read this. This is intelligent, sensitive, and full of shadows and light.

I so relate to the last sentence of this poem. It reminds me of my daily or nearly-dailyprayer that everyone of us on earth would have enough in the way of shelter from the elements and from harm. And it reminds me, in its gratitude for it and for the feeling of safety, of my Heart Song, The Sun is Lacking. -GK

Revived the remembrance of what was then and what is now, when old departs and new arrives, you will find a significant token of remembrance of the past and the present as well.......scripted with wonderful feelings..........thanks for sharing

What has hilariously happened and what are things left over are nicely depicted in this poem! It is a nice personal picture of celebration of New Year and after that immediately!
