Next In Line Poem by Meggie Gultiano

Next In Line

Rating: 5.0

when you face life's problems and adversities
and come to God in prayer
waiting and waiting to no end
remember that God never comes too soon or late
you are next in line to the person ahead of you
yes next time you are next in line
to that person in front of you
God in His infinite wisdom
knows that, that person is in dire need than you are
his problems might be bigger and his faith is stronger

trust in His words and be thankful
little things or in big things, be grateful
He might be teaching
you to be patient
to wait on Him
to quiet your aching heart

then you will be filled with inner peace
if you only trust His plans for you
the best in you is yet to come
and you will be the next in line
in His own, good, good time

so, your time will come next time.Just wait and see

'In His time, in His time, He makes all thing beautiful in His time. Lord, my life to You I bring, May each song I have to sing, Be to You a lovely thing, in Your time.' Your poem reminded me so much of the lyrics of this hymn...In His time.. truly a beautiful and inspirational piece Meggie..Thanks

Goodness, this is so inspirational and what words of wisdom you have written about God. I will remember this poem and refer to it often as patience is not one of my virtues. This can also establish in your own mind, the problems you are facing, and how your faith can get you through. A wonderful thoughtful poem....10 love & hugs Karin

A very nice reminder. Sometimes it is helpful to sit back and consider what comes next. Reminds me of 'There is a time for everything...'

Patience is indeed a virtue, and you pen it's importance very prettily in this charming poem. So often prayer becomes a mere stamping of the ego's foot. It's necessary to understand that the mystery is part of the 'great plan' and that what is meant to be will ultimately be. Wise words. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
