Our Love Was.
our love was like a fish out the sea,
like a blind person who couldn't see,
like a star that was no longer bright,
our love was a struggling fight
our love was like a dove who could't fly,
like the ocean that went dry,
like a sun with out the shine,
i remember you once were mine
our love was just a moment in time,
our love i believe was a crime,
our love was, our love is?
our love should have never been like this........

I like the next to last line: 'our love was, our love is? ' which communicates that things are still evolving and nothing that's so real is ever truly a closed book.
