Over The Rainbow Bridge Poem by Ruby Honeytip

Over The Rainbow Bridge

Rating: 5.0

'You don't bring me flowers'
Is the song in all my showers
The loneliness is all
Washed down the drain.
I rinse the tears away
And with salty disarray
They are diluted
But they leave behind the pain.
I miss your smiling face
Your frenetic friendly pace
And your happiness at all I said and did.
My furry little friend
Never to be seen again
I will miss your little 'wheek wheek' Guinea Pig.

Feel sad for your loss, Ruby. But it was avery mischievously written lament, wasn't it. Definitely like it.

I had a guinea pig called Vivienne! After a character in a programme called the young ones, a comedy. This is sad but the end made me laugh! Sorry I feel bad! X x

Hi Ruby. This is a truly wonderful poem. God will show you the way, my friend :) Pets are to be treasured, there is nothing that can replace those that have died.
