(passionate Picnic)on A Hill Poem by Obinna Kenechukwu Eruchie

(passionate Picnic)on A Hill

(Picnic)atop a lonesome patient hill,
Where serenity does (take place)to heal
The air (passing)to go placid to fill
The atmosphere with warmth (much that)they feel
Is the passion (surely) that remains still
Ever (to be)tougher than reinforced steel.
In each other's eyes (wanting)as they will,
The duo vision love (within that does wheel
(With bliss) finer than flour done by the mill
(Of grains) , ravishing as they take their meal.

Quite often, a place makes all the difference. By making it atop the hill, the couple have carried their love to its height. The unique blend of height, greenery, waft of rejuvenating breeze, ineffable solitude, vast blue skies, and overview from there, everything that is there … catalyzes the chemistry of their love. An elevating poem with a sweet rhyme.

although there's no sign of food, this passionate picnic tells me they had their fill and the last two lines tell me how scrumptious!

A good write, though the significance of all those brackets eluded me.

the duo finds a secluded place within the poem - (Picnic) (take place) etc; very nice

A romantic love poem, with charming rhyming and powerful imageries, good only for the learned. O' Eruchie, you're a complex poet in the like of Wole Soyinka, the William Shakespeare of Africa!
