इस अंधेरी रात में जब तुम देखोगे
दूर सितारों के उस पार, जान जाओगे
बुद्ध के उस परम सत्य को.
पंजों के बल चलते चलते
द्ववार खोल रहा है सूरज आहिस्ता से
घुंघराले ये केश तुम्हारे सहलाता है.
क्या तुम रोक सकोगे अपने
दिल की धड़कन- सुनने को पदचाप
एक खूबसूरत नज़्म की?

In the dark night, you
look afar― the stars, to know
the Buddha's full truth.
Walking on tiptoes,
sun opens the door gently
to fondle your tresses.
Can you stop your heart―
beats to listen the footsteps
of a beautiful poem?
