Piety - Poem by Ely Concord III De Los Santos
Time, the world of his and her met.
In a place where memories covet.
Oh! love, love, love, so blind for he.
That falling for someone, forbids thee.
Shallow water, calm and cozy night,
shall never speak about what they
know. This may lead to disaster
in this life unknown.
Swaying, swaying, swaying, going with time.
Precious moments, will someday be mined.
To a heart so blind, and a heart so
tender, its hard to accept, but he must surrender.
Oh! love, love, love, where have you been?
Is it love, love, love, he's never seen?
So well and sweet, feeling endeavor,
Oh! time, time time, have me a favor.
Show him the light to guide his path.
Do not let love conqer, and put him in wrath.
Oh! blindness, blindness, he can't control.
When he sees her, his life stops to roll.
His love, his love, his love, should be forbidden thee?
His love, his love, his love, Should it be for he?
Blindness can see, his love for he,
Is this true? Wouldn't this love be me?
