Howard Simon

Poets Pen

Penetrates the wonderful womb of wisdom
Ordained to inspire hope and re-script destiny
Enlightens to minus the miasma of the masses
Trained for titillation and tutored for titivation
Sails the sea of imagination in the ship of reality

Pregnant with the incredible ink of ideas
Energized by the super spring of new birth
Navigated not by hand but by heart and soul

Poets' pens are so powerful! And truly, you have one.10/10 for this beautiful poem.
In just eight lines you have described the power, efficacy and the navigational chart of a poet's pen, 'navigated not by hand but by heart and soul' so clearly!
My vocabulary has been enhanced by at least three new words:
    ' Titillation, titivation and miasma'.
    Thanks!
I have a poem titled 'Biography Of A Poem'. If you have time, I'll appreciate if you read it and say a few words.

'Sails the sea of imagination in the ship of reality.'

The line gives richness in figurative devices. This poem showcases not only poetic devices but the richness of poetic sounds and arts by the writer. You're a poet...10+++. thanks for reading my poem.
