Remember Those
Walking their Darkest Path
They don't even know
You, are there
Their mind is so cloudy
They only see
Pain. Fear. Loss.
Let Us
Remember Those
Whatever the reason
For their pain
Just
Let them know
Someone is there
For Heartache
Is like Death
Clouds the mind
Excruciating pain
Never
Knowing it will heal
Whatever the reason
We must remember those
Hurting. Aching.
For it is seen
Right in their eyes
Let us give
The warmth of your heart
A sincere smile
For this
Will let them know
'That They'
Are not in this world
All alone
Let us
Remember Those

I liked the rhythm of this poem and its flow. The sentiments are beautifully expressed and at this time of year people remember those who are hurt or lonely or destitute. But rather like Scrooge after reform should we not keep Christmas in our hearts all the year. thanks for sharing 10/10 BB: O)
The pain of hurt, loss and fear which enters our lives at times, our need for a friendly smile, somebody to listen and help us to deal with it all. Beautiful write!
Great sentiments expressed here Lyn, there are many lonely people who need to be remembered.
ENCOURAGING POEM, giving support to those people blinded with pain and hate whose hearts are filled with negativism is indeed a noble act!
An inspiring write from your kind heart. Really a few kind words or a friendly smile can do much. Beautiful poem. Loved reading it.
A poem exhorting compassion so nicely pennd. D miserable feel worst in festiv occasions dats why in our Eid its a must to give Eidulfitri charity.

This is what virtue is, or the norms we inherit... what an irony that we don't celebrate religious events in a godly manner...whether it is Eid or Christmas or any other festival in religions...this should be the approach in practical way...
