Dear, I had a strange dream last night,
Adam and eve were in bliss in Eden,
Innocence all around was scattered,
In Nature shelter and trees fruit laden.

Inventive write, C.P...I like the subliminal parallel you draw...one that that unfortunately is in keeping with the world of today....Innocence is bliss, they say(whoever THEY are) , but bliss, can also be the serpent in his masque of mortal macabre....feasting on us as for fodder for his perditious dominion....Very Nice Work, indeed! Innocence got covered, innocence is lost. I loved the way you created this story of the tempting and downfall of many of us. It happens all the time.

very skillfully woven the story of fall of Adam and Eve due to evil designs of Satan, with wit, irony and humour., allusion to state of relationships in present times. well composed, easy flow.10 Mamta

A new version on an old tale my friend Man constanty seeks to place the blame on someone else I am puzzled If God is omnipotent there can be no satan other than man exercising his godgiven free will.

Adam and Eve story we all know, but this seems to be a modern version of their story, well written in poetry.

great story in a poetry..with a touch of slight fantasy... a nicely chosen words..convincing... the temptation of Eve....Satan tempted Eve because only a woman can tame a man...and Satan knows it...If He tempted Adam first, definitely Adam would decline...so it must be Eve first, so that Adam can't say no... all that is happening is according to God's Plan....for in Adam and Eve will start the generation of people... if not for them who commit original sin, then, we won't be here today... only Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden.....until now.. .and what is left for us to think is the tree of knowledge.. God have given us the intellect and our will.. .but not a will to do what we want but the will to do what we should ought to do... .(just my own opinion) ...10+++++

Paradise revisited. Truly Eve as the bane of Adam's existence. Satan was the consummate marketing man who knew the vanity of his consumers. Women is frailty personified but, my god, they are so loveable.

In perfect innocence they bathed, Faith and trust its soothing shade; ..................the dream most eloquently curved by wonderfu imagery and metaphors, rhythm flows luscious by tunes of love by Adam and Eve all across the innocence of faith, yet it looses its gleams by the roving eyes of satan on Eve, tranquility seems to be grilled smacking less strength by the mystery of deterrant grin of satan, time changes, misfotune befalls on the rune of love, yert God knows....oh what a style of narration scrupling freshness by rhythm, wellpenned,10++++, thanks for sharing

I liked it but the theology of it is wrong. Other than that it flows. As you put in the line: he approached Eve in Adam's absence. As you see in Gen 3: 2, the WE, it seems they both were there. And he was directing the pitch to Eve. Why would she included or say WE while talking to the serpent? In Gen 3: 6 she had an experience and offered it to Adam, looks like he was right there. It does not say she called for him or anything else to that matter or that he wasn't right there. No where have I found that says they were not together there at the same time. (Its like Adam let her be a test dumby or something, just a thought.) Then in Romans 12-19 it tells how sin entered the world thru one man's disobedience. Eve ate it first, but that's does tell us some about authority in a marriage right. So why we blame Eve all the time, baffles me. Adam was right there while the conversation was being done. It looks like to me he was soul accountable for what happened. He did not stop her from doing wrong. Which we find is also wrong in the Word. But he ate of the tree, the sin came thru him. God bless geneo Gen 3: 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: Gen 3: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die Gen 3: 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Rom 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Rom 5: 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
