A Maze In Life
Amazing Grace
Those healing words
That one prayer
Which gives answers to so many
That maze in life
We cannot find the exit
Though
We see the answer
We cannot escape
The torture
The answers are sometimes simple
The positive thoughts so high
Yet escaping
Seems so far away
Like tomorrow
Shall never be
Future always
Holds the key
Will Tomorrow
Never come
Answers needed
By so many
As waiting causes but pain
For those wanting only simplicity
What has been given to some
Was too much
Now you wish
You could take it back
For through this maze
They may never see
The pain in which
They have given to others
How we must see
Those suffering
Spread unknown joy
To others
Those causing the suffering
Are really the ones suffering
For guilt is no pleasure
Life Is A Maze
Sorry is
The Hardest word

Beautiful Lyn, and so heartfelt. So true though - those who cause suffering are also suffering. Beautiful and insightful.
Sorry should be a go to word. It heals the speaker and hearer. Lovely poem
Indeed it is. It holds great power if used sincerely and judiciously yet the more it is used the more power it loses.
Often we hesitate to tell someone that we are sorry! But if we say it openly and sincerely when we are sorry about something, our heart is purged of all sense of guilt and the offended is cured of all sense of hurt! A nicely thought out poem Lyn!
very nice poem dealing with right and wrong. Many of us do not know that by saying 'sorry' it reduces lot of tensions between two persons' disagreement, what we cant do because of our egos and pride. Thanks for sharing.
Yes! A lot of people cannot say: I am sorry in life. Nice work.
'Those causing the suffering Are really the ones suffering For guilt is no pleasure'................. The problem, Lyn, is that some feel no guilt. Too many cannot distinguish the difference between right and wrong, and that can be frightening. Your son is your lifeline, keep going for his sake.
This is so true! Sorry is the Hardest Word to say and it would solve many problems if it were spoken often! I really enjoyed reading your poem! God Bless You and keep writing away!
