I am not new
I am not old
Yet I have so... many stories, too be told
Stories that.... are my own
Stories that.... are Home Grown
Stories of loss
Stories of life
Stories of man
Stories of wife
Stories of raising child from birth
Stories of hope, stories unearthed
Stories of wisdom
Stories of hate
Stories of arriving home, far too late
In life
There have been, many blows
Yet I have dealt it,
By how the wind blows
I have gained, I have lost balanced only by each scale
Balanced yet; Not looking it as fail
This is life and no doubt; meant to be
I have lost... And I will see
See that others are hurting more
See that there is more to explore
See the humans; See the Greedy
And...
See those, Who are so needy
So, I have lost....
I have found...
I can stand....
On solid Ground

So very true Lyn! We all have many stories to tell.... stories of victory and defeat, stories of pain and joy, of hate and love.. betrayal and loyalty....! Such is life! Those who accept all with equanimity and hope become winners in life! I appreciate your sense of self worth! A great poem! Enjoyed! !
I love the idea of humanities stories, individual and collective; it's what we are, where we've been and where we all are bound. Very good, interesting poem this.
Beautiful poem Lyn. This is the stories of all of us to tell. Beautiful ending with strong determination.. I have lost I have found I can stand On solid Ground....This energy is required...Loved reading it.
So, I have lost.... I have found... I can stand.... A good resolve to face the world with determination. Nice poem of re-dedication. Thank you.
I would love to hear your stories Lyn, but you have written of them here - well done.
Stories to make us smile, weep, rejoice, celebrate and to know we are just human, not perfect just trying to find our way in this amazing world! Great write!

I would like to translate this poem
Lyn, this is another great poem that says it like it is, and how it shall be... from times that are lost, to each victory. and, we will survive. We all go though our trials and tribulations, but it is how you choose to learn the lesson. Love your most positive poems always! {{{hugs}}} and thank you.
