I stay behind her
while walking down the slope
like a soldier;
yet, no sword but an image
to turn into a poem

    What a great tanka! I've never tried to write one; maybe I should.
    This is your newest poem, more that two years old! Are you still writing?
    I hope you are in good health! The best to you!

    This picturesque language did so extraordinarily drag my mind into so many imaginary envisaged occasions. Thank you for publishing. (Report)Reply

    Like a soldier? Behind her? Fighting with poetry.Interesting imagery here of a woman in front and a soldier in back..and a poet through and through. You've made the world a better place with poetry...I wish we could fight with our words more and with less with weapons that draw blood. (Report)Reply

    Hi Pam! fighting with words, not with weapons? it would surely make the world a much better place, right... Unfortunately it seems that too many love this kind of world (or even a worst one) , filled with weapons and hate...: (

    the poem is really cool.As Minnie Froh said, why can't we vote? (Report)Reply

    Fabrizio FrosiniFabrizio Frosini(11/24/2017 6:09:00 AM)

    I answered the question:
    problem, with the ''rating'', is that there are people who simple like to 'joke' with the function... they are a minority, I know, but they are not so few... unfortunately

    ma la traduzione italiana manca.Perchè non l'aggiungi? (Report)Reply

    Fabrizio FrosiniFabrizio Frosini(11/24/2017 6:04:00 AM)

    perché per renderlo correttamente in italiano dovrei usare un numero maggiore di sillabe, e questo non mi va... ;)
