The Double Life
He lives a double life
only wishing she was his wife
swimming in his lies
only to drown in hate and despise
hurting others for his own happiness
inside he hides something less

The last line of this poem, inside he hides something less, is very strong writing that says much about hurting another person! A 10

The ending is so fitting of a conclusion, when ones own happiness is not shared it becomes a tarnished mirror with focus only on ones self...your poems of late are sterling in meaning and just seem to be getting better and better, great work Aqua!

'Hurting others for his own happiness'- - - You nailed it. That's what cheaters do. They use people as objects for their own pleasure and satisfaction.
