The Road I Walk - Poem by Jessica Lee Workman

Along this road I go walking down the lane I never noticed this before but this road is not the same this road looks very dark I don’t understand this it even shines at night my head is very mixed up I need to understand how can it change like that yesterday it was so grand I sat there upon a rock and looked left and right I tried to figure all this out and then I see the light this road is the path in life I walk and no its not the same a part of my heart is missing it will never be whole again it happened on the day u left the day god grabbed your hand the day he told you no more pain forever you will walk my land so I must change the path I walk and walk it without you but then you will walk it without me in sprit I know
