The Wind Of Fate Poem by Rose Marie Juan-austin

The Wind Of Fate

Rating: 4.7

He manipulates the wheel of life
Masterly woven his past
Carefully paints the present
Collects tons of gold for his future.

The Wind of Fate forced its way
Handed him a Scroll
A verdict....
A World of Nothingness.

I undestand and appreciate the philosophy that lies hidden between the lines of the two stanzas. The 'Wind of Fate' wouldn't care a hoot, however skilful manipulations we may make, and machinations we may plan. It will hand down the verdict that the manipulators and the self seeking opportunists deserve- 'A World of Nothingness'.

A brilliant poem! What we accumulate considering as wealth will go to oblivion once close our eyes forever but if we can create work of art that would last forever. A great poem with an excellent message... appreciated.

I often think if God makes me capable of rewinding my life from where I should start again? I started reverting my life and having failed to get a suitable age I arrived at nothingness. A nice thought so intelligently painted in a lovely poem. Rose Marie Juan Austin is a great poetess.

Very powerfully penned with deep conviction. The verdict of 'Dust To Dust`is an inescapable, existential reality that bears eloquent testimony to the maxim, 'Vanity Upon Vanity'. Thanks for your immense contribution to The Poemhunter Family.
