Brimming with sorrows
In a mawkish way
I loitered through the narrow
path to exhume my day.
Reached an abondoned zone.
A tree stood in its middle.
Something urged me to go on
and I did go in a toddle.
While scripting my worst-evers
in the sandy soil,
A sudden downpour showered
and I gazed through its silver veil.
Rather than staying where I was
Got out of the shade of the tree.
Felt as if a burden has
been taken out of me.
While relishing the rain, I turned around
- My sorrows got washed
away from the soil and I found
That those in my heart too got smashed..
Stood there, feeling proud.
And indeed, I became dumb.
Because, my joy had no bounds
'Good God! You showed me the wiper of my sorrows'
From then on, whenever I feel bad,
rather than meeting a Dr. or going to a temple
I seek the help of rain
- Which will refresh me with its pearl drops....
