Thorns Have Never Pinched Me
Although I am wild flower near this pond,
I have bloomed gaining yellow golden light,
Every petal of mine is very soft and shiny,
Sun becoming child sits in my lap in joy.
I have grown in thorny plant in this place,
Every leaf contains and stem contains thorn,
Around me thorny weather I see every day,
Still this is fresh and pure I feel at morning.
My sister is also very calm and in meditation,
We both have bloomed side by side in love,
Mutual respect and understanding support us,
Beauty is gifted by nature by grace of God.
Thorns have never pinched me or harmed,
My sister is also guarded by thorns in love,
Thorns provide us security we love them too,
Obstacles we overcome with much patience.
Thorns do not hurt us, they do never wound,
We swing in lap of thorny leaves peacefully,
We have learnt art of leading lives in this Earth,
Golden sun is my child now I have no fear.
