When my mind begins to stop running,
Halting at every turn, stopping by to look around me,
Looking for little pleasures of life,
Like the morning dew on every leaf,
Like the butterfly sitting on a wild flower,
Like drinking a steaming hot cup of aromatic tea,
Looking out for nothing more! But just sit in leisure!
My thoughts suspended and still,
Unhurried and relaxed
Undisturbed and cool!

When my mind is
Calmly meditating,
Contemplating on nature's beauty,
Cool wind caressing my being,
Carefree like a bird,
With fragrance of rose and lavender,
Wafting in breeze,
Wonderful thoughts occur
Blissful,
Tranquil!

When my mind is praying,
Dwelling only on the Infinite -
The Supreme Reality;
Of His beautiful manifestations -
The awesome Nature!
Flowing and surrendering
To His divine will;
My thoughts become steady,
Content,
Joyful!
