Time Zone Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Time Zone

Rating: 5.0

I don't know how time works
I mean I don't know when it's nighttime
In Paris--or San Franicsco
Or if it's springtime in Australia
This problem has gone over my head since I was a kid
How the Earth goes around and around
The sun like a spinning top
And it seems to go faster lately
It's already time for the countdown to my birthday
I wish it would go backwards a year
So, I can say goodbye another day

Great poem on Time. Our enemy. Reflects the feelings of so many, perfectly and greatly. Love it!

Happy Belated Birthday, LeeAnn! Time can be very confusing. Wait till you reach my age. Then, it gets VERY confusing! I'm confused. Is this supposed to be a funny poem? Or a serious one?
