When the sun of my sorrow sets
A flower blooms in my mind
I do not know what to name it
This is very tender. The metaphor of the sun setting and thereby canceling a sorrow is really striking. Ironically a flower grows without the benefit of sunlight. It is the first of many good things that are about to happen because sorrow is suspended. The challenge to name the flower show energires will flow toward the positive.
It must be a special water lily which blooms at night. Beautiful triplet.
Call it moon-flower, for moon is both mind and sadness. Many go lachrymose with the sight of the moon. Lord Rama wept in the Ramayana seeing the full moon rise and remembering his lost beloved moon-faced Sita. Good one.
Let the flower remain unnamed for it can then be interpreted in so many fragrant ways.
O M G what amazing poetic imagery we can find here in this excellent paradoxical work? it deserves 10 without doubt.. with Regards
A magnificent write. Three brilliant lines that tickle the mind. Probably, we can name the flower as Happiness. Beautifully crafted..10+++++
