We Are All Global Citizens - For Pope Francis Poem by Richard Wlodarski

We Are All Global Citizens - For Pope Francis

Rating: 5.0

You and I are One
One with just One God
One to be free
Of prejudice
One to see beyond colour
We are of just one color
One to hear beyond hate
As One We can solely love
One to taste such World Peace
As One We don't know war
One to smell such evil
As One We don't know sin
One to touch All That's Love
In Such Glory Above

Omnia vinct Amor Love conquers all as Virgil said. And this is true and so well expressed in your poem, Richard. Love it

the idea of humanism I like; what makes us common, but I'm afraid a Western citizen shares it all with a third-world citizen... congratulations to the beautiful strings!

An important truth to bring to light. In doing so our tomorrow could be more brighter. A wonderful write, thanks for sharing.

What a lovely poem! Wish you a great 2019! Indeed, wars are our greatest anathema and biggest threats to mankind.
