=================
The moment we arrived on earth
Coming out of a mother's womb
Particles of sand in the hour glass
Immediately start pouring down.
We all are getting closer towards end
With every grain, being advanced.
No way has been invented yet
To stop or pause this sand clock! !
Our mortal life is a dynamic process
Which begins only to end.
Though, the life begins with fresh buds
And many a new leaves,
It has to face the winter at last
With dry petals and it's falling leaves.
Hence, every moment of this uncertain life
Is so precious to us all! !
That we are not supposed to loiter with it
Or spare it by any chance.
No doubt, we can relax and enjoy this life
But always being cautious about time.
That person is fortunate enough
Who can draw a prudent balance in life.
Because -
Our mortal life is a dynamic process
Which begins only to end.

Our mortal life is a dynamic process Which begins only to end. Great realization Amitava! The poem is powerful enough to establish the transcience of life! The message to do maximum good to make this life worthwhile rings loud! This deserves top marks!
A nice poem and think sand of time how fantastically arranged..sand descends down upside down - finish is death the concluding - Our mortal life is a dynamic process Which begins only to end. thank you
Wonderfull thought provoking poem. Loved the metaphor of hour glass. Life is an amazing mystery. We all know it ends yet it is the last thing any body wants to think. Greater is love of life in us all than its end. Enjoyed the read. after so many days site is working good again!
Such a stark realization we do all reach at some point in our lives, Amitava. Knowing that death is to be our fate in the future, is a sad and eerie thought to be thinking while we are living. Still, we are only mere mortals doing our best to survive in this temporary world. Doing random acts of kindness to others while living. A great poem, Amitava! ! Thank you for sharing, RoseAnn
Very thoughtful, well-written poem on the mortality of human being, which very few acknowledge while alive. In this context, there is a story in Mahabharata where Judhisthira (who never lied in life) said in response to a question regarding the strangest thing in this world in his personal experience: While living people see others dyeing, and hear about many people's death, yet never believe themselves though that they will die someday. Congratulation Amitava!
