We Will Stand - Poem by Samuel Segun Toluwalase

Sometimes, we cannot stand the times
Sometimes we cannot tell the tides

But we will try
But if we strive

Our hearts will take us farther
Our minds will Lead us on

And when we win
AN when we will

We will stand
We will stand

This is where we stand
Under the many dried leaves

On the many obstacles
We will stand

Under the dying flame We will rest

Till we will stand

Topic(s) of this poem: determination
