Where words are a veil
Sometimes, in relations
Silence is the deal
Thoughts, words, and behaviour, in my language called: vichaar, vvani, and vartan... we have evil thoughts, many in fact but are still safe at least from the outside... we generally do not go as far as vartan/behaviour, but it is the speech/words/vaani that spoils things for us.. What I could not quite convey still in these so many words, the poet has so briefly. well done dear poet.
If words are veiled between us The cover just as thin as a silk, smooth Though if the silence close our mouths It still failed to erase each others from our minds When our heartbeats already entwined
Profound and epigrammatic as always. Happy to have heard from you after a long time. Wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

So true, Ali. So true. When the words stop and we reflect on what has been said is precisely the time we come to terms with meaning. I find that during conversations I often make assumptions about intentions that are simply not there. This verse goes to myfavourites.
